Join Mosaic for a summer study skills workshop developed specifically for incoming freshmen and sophomores.
Be prepared to handle the demands of high school!
This Workshop will help you:
- Find out how you learn best.
- Learn how to take notes.
- Discover the secrets to studying more efficiently and effectively.
- Learn techniques on how to study for each subject - science, math, languages, English.literature, etc.
- Find out how to get organized and stay that way!
Workshop Dates:
- August 5th
- August 14th
- Build your own group and select your own date

Rising High School Freshmen and Sophomores!
Sign up for a Study Skills Workshop
Workshops include:
- 2-hour small-group workshop (up to 6 students)
- 2-hour one-on-one brainstorming session to develop outlines for essays highlighting compelling, unique aspects of you.
At the conclusion of the workshop and one-on-one session, you will have:
- An understanding of the purpose of the essays
- Outlines for your Common Application essays and UC Personal Insight Questions
- A detailed resource for any additional essays and short-answer prompts
- The confidence to craft well-written application essays!
Workshop Dates:
- June 7th from 2-4 pm
- June 13th from 10-noon
Additional workshops will be held in July and August. Call for additional dates.
